Keep Swan Records

As I Chat with Various Swan Folks.. I Encourage Keeping Notes..

Record when you Adopt a Swan/Swans..  From Whom.  Their AGE !
Make Notes of their Original Home/Feed/Parent Swans, if Known..
You will have much more Understanding of your Swans..

Keeping Journal Notes of Each Year’s Nesting Behavior.
When did your Swans Start Courting, Mating..??
When did they Start Building their Nest..??
How many EGGs were Laid..???  Be Safe Checking the Nest.
Note when Nesting Problems Occurred..
Flooding, Stolen EGGs, etc..
How Many Cygnets Hatched..???  NOTE the DATE !!
Note when you Pinion… When you Submit DNA Samples..

How many Cygnets Survived to be Rehomed..??
Who have your Rehomed/Adopted a Swan or Cygnet to.. ??

Having Notes of Health Issues will be Helpful
when Consulting a Veterinarian.
