We did the DNA for most Pond Raised Cygnets around 15-18 Weeks.
Which is 105-128 Days Old.. They have LOTs of True Feathers.
If the Cygnets Survived the Perils of Summer OUT on the Ponds
with their Parents, they had a Good Chance of Growing into Adults.
Plus, their Legs are Mature enough to Place an ID Band and NOT
need to Change them.. Their Legs are Close to Adult Size-Diameter..
By 5 Months Old they are Well Feathered.
Hopefully, if there are any Genetic Defects.. they have Demonstrated..
